I first learned how to do these braids @ a mother daughter party before my dd had long enough hair to do them in and I couldn't wait to try them...I'm still trying to come up with a more fun style using this type of braid...
I took small sections all the way around the head to make the headband. Then you'll make a somewhat loose three stranded braid in each section. If the braid is too tight it won't slide & scrunch. Braid the hair as far down as you can (after squishing the braid, it becomes much shorter). When your braid is as long as you can make it, hold onto one strand with your left hand and the two other strands in the right, slide the two strands in your right hand up while holding the strand in your left hand tight. The braid will scrunch up and get a "weaved" effect. Secure the braid with an elastic and syle the hair however you may wish.

Ok Linnae, so I feel like Rip VanWinkle now....I had no idea you had a hair blog!!!!! You talented woman you. I'm going to be in trouble now, once McKell see's all these cute do's she's definitely going to feel neglected and will probably choose the hardest one to do. Tell K her hair always looks so cute, she's a little princess!
Thanks Sherri, all the do's we post are actually pretty simple tho...We made your yummy chocolate cake for the super bowl...it was a hit!
I love this! I'll be trying it today. Thanks!
